1. Who can use LapTime

LapTime is a performance tracking and community platform for kart racers, operated from the United States. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use LapTime only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. We remove accounts we believe belong to children under 13.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. The information you provide must be accurate, including your date of birth. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your profile, sessions, laps, photos, and other content you created.

3. Your content

You own the content you post on LapTime - sessions, lap times, telemetry, photos, comments, and profile details. By posting, you give LapTime a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content as part of operating the service (for example, showing your session on your public profile, in other racers' feeds, on track leaderboards, and on public share pages you or others share).

Only post photos you have the right to share. If a photo shows another person, especially a minor, make sure you have their (or their guardian's) permission. We may remove any content that violates these terms.

4. Community rules

Don't use LapTime to:

• Harass, bully, or threaten anyone
• Post content that is illegal, sexually explicit, or hateful
• Share someone's private information or photos without consent
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent lap times or results
• Spam, scrape, or interfere with the service

Every photo, comment, and profile has a report option. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts at our discretion.

5. Wallet and purchases

LapTime offers a wallet you can load with funds to buy track passes and other track services at participating tracks. Card payments are processed by Stripe; LapTime does not store your card details. A 3% processing fee applies when loading funds. Purchases from your wallet balance are charged at face value with no additional fee.

Wallet balances are not bank deposits, earn no interest, and are not transferable except through features we provide (such as pass transfers). Refunds for track services are handled by the track. If a purchase fails on our side after your wallet is charged, we automatically refund your wallet.

6. Tracks and third parties

Track information, passes, and waivers are provided in partnership with participating tracks and their operations systems. Tracks are responsible for their own facilities, events, pricing, and refund policies. Signing a track's waiver on LapTime creates a legal agreement between you and that track.

7. Assumption of risk

Karting is dangerous. LapTime is a tracking and community tool - nothing in the app is advice about how fast to drive or what is safe. You are solely responsible for your racing, your equipment, and your safety on track.

8. Disclaimers and limits

LapTime is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Timing data, telemetry, and leaderboards may contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LapTime and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as LapTime evolves. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms here with a new effective date, and continued use of the service means you accept them. If you don't agree, stop using LapTime and delete your account.
